“I felt like I was drowning in grief and trauma, and desperately wanted to find a therapist who specialized in infertility because they went through it too.”

During times of crisis or stress, there is an opportunity to learn just how strong we truly are, and I bring that belief into my work to assist individuals and couples through challenges and life transitions. Having an unbiased ear to listen with empathy and understanding can be immensely helpful. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, and we will work together to better understand and resolve the challenges in your life.

I have a passion for working with individuals who are going through or have gotten to the other side of infertility. Whether it’s choosing to stop treatment or facing the complicated emotions of parenting after working so hard to get there, I can help. Asking for support can feel impossible, especially when we feel isolated while shouldering so much disenfranchised grief. I am here to listen and support you on your unexpected journey and the ripples it creates throughout your life and relationships.

Jenni Peterson, MFT-Intern

I have seen the Las Vegas valley grow and change over the 35+ years I have spent here. It's a reminder to me that we all can do the same. In the middle of wading through reproductive challenges, I decided to make meaning of my grief and quit my career of 17 years to become the therapist I had such a hard time finding when I felt like I was being consumed by years of infertility trauma.

I was inspired to work with individuals and couples facing reproductive challenges and all that they encompass, as well as pregnancy and postpartum. In my experience, parenthood after infertility brought up thoughts and challenges that my friends, who became parents naturally, didn't face.

Our journeys are all unique, but they can share common threads that help us feel a little less alone when we reach out for support. I hope you will give me the chance to be a source of support for you.

  • Individual Therapy

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome, we can take control of how we respond. I work with individuals wanting to more deeply understand themselves, learn tools to manage anxiety, and better cope with the challenges of work, relationships, and everyday life.

  • Couple & Family Therapy

Relationships are an opportunity for us to learn more about ourselves and grow. I work with couples and families who are struggling to feel joy and connection, want to better communicate with each other, and have a more harmonious relationship where everyone feels respected and valued.

  • Infertility, Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy

When becoming a parent does not work out as expected, the levels of trauma and grief that arise can affect all areas of life. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples experiencing infertility. I also enjoy working with women and couples going through the perinatal and postpartum stages of family life.
